The Rescuer Video Call service provides access to healthcare professionals regardless of geographic location, making quality healthcare available to patients in remote areas or areas with limited medical resources.

Rescuers and triage nurses record and evaluate the call in order to direct it to the right provider according to the severity and importance of the request. They direct the requests either to a network physician for medical advice, or if they consider that the patient needs to visit a Primary Health Care Provider immediately, they coordinate the appropriate department of the ASKLEPIEIA Medical Network. The triage department may need to coordinate an ambulance evacuation of the patient, either by an available private ambulance or by an ambulance of the National Emergency Center.

In each case, a record of the request and the movements carried out shall be established. The Triage department does not independently provide treatment instructions or medical advice, which is the responsibility of the Physician.

Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their medical history, their symptoms, and any ongoing treatments or medications.

Payments for the service are processed through a secure online payment platform.

In order for the video call to take place, both the rescuer and the patient must have the necessary technical equipment (computer, microphone, camera). Asklepieia technically supports the video call service but is not responsible for problems related to the equipment of the rescuer and the patient (indicatively, interruptions or delays during the video call due to poor internet connection, insufficient or incompatible equipment, etc.).

Duration

30 min on average. Service coverage time from 9:00 to 22:00.

Cancelation Policy

A full refund is offered if your reservation is cancelled within five days from the date of your charge.
