Dr George Petsas, MD, PhD was born in Athens, Greece. He obtained his PhD from the Democritus University of Thrace (Alexandroupolis, Greece) and trained at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University Hospital of Munich.

From the first moment we felt safe, trusted and genuinely interested. We feel special gratitude for our doctor, George Lainas, for his scientific training, the calmness and optimism that he conveyed to us at every step. Always available to guide us with honesty, respect and genuine interest, completely earning our trust. Our midwife, Elvira, also has a special place in our hearts, a wonderful person with true empathy, sweetness and discreet strength. She was always by our side with calm, support and a warm smile in the most stressful moments. Her presence made the whole journey more beautiful and more human. We feel truly grateful to have had such a wonderful team by our side!!

Thank you very much for your help in our struggle. You are an excellent team with faith and knowledge in what you do. We now hold our 6-month-old baby boy in our hands after a lot of effort and several attempts at many doctors and IVF centers. Even when we lost our hopes, you were there to give us courage and strength. Well done to you for continuing as you are today. A model center that does not see the people who come to it as a wallet or a piece of meat. The overall experience at the Evgonia unit was excellent. I would like to mention the doctors, Ms. Laina Tryfona and Mr. Laina Giorgos (our doctor), who combine scientific knowledge with a human approach and professionalism, guiding us with respect at every step, the embryologists of the unit who were always available and very approachable, Sofia in the secretariat who was always helpful, smiling and willing, all the midwives I worked with were truly excellent, answering every question and always serving with a smile. I would like to make a special mention to my midwife Gogo who was always there for me with whatever I needed at any time of the day and who answered every question and supported me psychologically by informing me in every detail at every step of the process, even after the birth, no matter how difficult the schedules were (she knows!). We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts and highly recommend them.

I felt safe every moment. From the preparation to the delivery and breastfeeding, she guided me with calmness and professionalism.
