A fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. My husband and I stayed for a week all-inclusive in mid-October 2025, booked at the last minute. This hotel has it all, perfect for families and couples alike. There are so many pools I've lost count. I'm only writing this review now because I'm feeling nostalgic... the good food... the fun atmosphere, the music, the entertainment... the enthusiasm and hospitality of the staff... the relaxation of the jacuzzi on the balcony. Excellent shuttle and bus connections to Faliraki, but you can also walk to the beach. An experience that can't be described in words... better to live it. I highly recommend it.

The hotel management held a private party on the premises, privatizing a section without informing the guests. The music was blasting until 3 a.m., but they didn't seem to mindโ€”they're the owners! Very limited selection at the buffet. Cheap food. Fatty meats. Watered-down cocktails... Avoid at all costs!

I'd like to share my honest experience of my recent stay at the Venezia Resort Hotel Rhodes in Rhodes. Overall, it was a stay with both positive and negative aspects. One aspect I'd like to start with is the facilities. I noticed that several pools were closed between 5:00 and 6:00 PM, making it difficult to sunbathe. Although the sun doesn't set until around 8:15 PM, this is something to keep in mind. The sun rises around 7:00 AM and sets around 9:00 PM. If you can sunbathe from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, you'll be using 8 of the 14 available hours of sunshine per day. Over a week, you'll miss out on about 43% of the total sunshine hours, which would be desirable. Adjusting the pool opening times could improve this, especially considering the distance to the beach, which is about a 25-30 minute walk and 5-10 minutes by car. You'd think the pools would stay open longer to give guests more time to enjoy the facilities. Regarding the pool music, I noticed that the volume was often too high. This was especially noticeable at the children's pool. For a few days, the music was turned off completely, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. To my surprise, this decision was suddenly reversed, which I personally didn't need. It would have been a good idea to simply turn off the music at the family pool. Moreover, it would clearly indicate that this is a family pool, which travelers with families like ours would really appreciate. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms, which truly provided a comfortable stay. Regarding the food, dinner in the restaurant was a pleasant surpriseโ€”it was really delicious. However, breakfast was rather standard, but that's probably to be expected at all-inclusive hotels. I would have appreciated a wider selection of desserts. One of the highlights of the Venezia Resort Hotel Rhodes is its commitment to sustainability. They use reusable cups and have implemented solar panels and other green initiatives. This commitment to sustainability is truly admirable. During my stay, I tried the vegetables grown on the property, which were available in the restaurant. These were definitely worth trying and were clearly marked in the food preparation area. Regarding the restaurant, I was somewhat disappointed with the cleaning practices. I noticed that only one wipe with cleaning solution was used without rinsing it off. It didn't feel like the cleaning was truly thorough. Regarding the internet, the speed was adequate; the exact figures can be seen in the shared screenshot. Parents should be aware that the (child) seats could be cleaned more thoroughly to maintain a hygienic environment. Finally, I'd like to point out the elevator. It closes quite abruptly, and my wife bruised her arm because of it. This is especially important to be aware of when traveling with children. All in all, my stay at the Venezia Resort Hotel Rhodes was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The delicious dinner, the commitment to sustainability, and the comfortable rooms were all plus points. But it's important to consider these points when planning your next trip.
