Prof. Nikolaos S. Kouvelas is a leading Pediatric Dentist, educator, and founder of Eurodentica. With over 30 years of expertise, he has treated thousands of children and disabled patients.
About the Doctor
Professor Nikolaos S. Kouvelas is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Athens and has been teaching for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of Athens University (1975) and completed his specialization in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1977. As the founder of Eurodentica S.A. (formerly Athens Pedodontic Center), he has run a successful private practice since 1990. Prof. Kouvelas is also a prominent figure in the international dental community, having been President of the Greek branch of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (IADH) and later President of the IADH (2000-2002). In addition to his academic career, he has lectured worldwide on various topics, including pediatric dentistry, dental management, and dental tourism. He has authored over 100 publications in scientific papers and mass media. He is committed to improving access to dental care for children and disabled patients.

The WORST thing. I started when they still had the first brand "Pedodontics of Athens" in the first place they had and then they even changed places. I endured years of pain, with extraoral braces, internal braces at first, then normal braces and in the end the best thing after they took them out and put a brace on me to keep them in place for a while, they became completely crooked. Why? Because quite simply they didn't take out my impacted wisdom teeth that they had seen in my first panoramic. They took out two of them and then I never stepped on them again, not even from the outside. They also took out an extra tooth, so that the rest of my teeth could fit better. Today I also have crooked teeth on the bottom that I didn't have before and I wouldn't have gone through all this suffering for so many years to need normal braces today. ONLY A SCAM. Normally I wouldn't put ANY STAR, I was forced to post.

The best for any problem anyone faces. They have been following me since the age of 8, for a rare dental problem. At 37, I wouldn't change them for anything!

Disappointing experience. Our experience with the pediatric dentist was disappointing. Although we arrived on time for our appointment, there was a significant delay without any information or explanation. In addition, during the visit, additional procedures were performed without our prior consent or even being informed. In the end, these procedures were added to the bill, which we find unacceptable. We will definitely not be returning and would not recommend her.

Normally it doesn't deserve even a single star. I'm sharing my experience (now at the age of 29) as I experienced it from the age of 11 to 17. A fall I had at the age of 11 caused a fracture of the root of the front tooth. Mr. Kouvelas then thought it was a good idea to "build" the tooth to hold it as long as he could since I was too young for an implant (the final size of the gums had not formed, etc.). This resulted in extensive gum infection and bad breath and of course the appearance of the tooth deteriorated over time, as it continued to build a ROTTED tooth externally. I spent countless summers with fevers that came from this and of course the appearance of my gums was greatly affected. I could no longer laugh and I was ashamed to talk about this image. Despite the very bad and unhealthy state of my mouth, Mr. Kouvelas and his associates continued to claim that there was no problem. Unfortunately, my parents then made the decision to change dentists, but significant time had been lost. Mr. Halas (my dentist for the last 11 years) was shocked by the mess caused by the actions of Mr. Kouvelas and his dental office. The rotten tooth was immediately removed, the gums that had been filled with pus were cleaned, a wisdom tooth was removed to get a graft to place in the front gum (as it had been "eaten" due to the infection). And of course, after a few months, an implant. It was the most traumatic thing I have ever experienced with multiple consequences on my psychology and my health in general.
