Service Summary

A male oncology screen with oncology exam, chest X-ray, and male tumor markers (PSA, CEA, CA 19-9, AFP) for cancer risk assessment and early detection.

Possible Side Effects

Venipuncture for the tumor marker panel produces a small bruise at the puncture site and brief light-headedness. The chest X-ray delivers a low radiation dose, considered safe for diagnostic use. The oncology exam includes lymph-node palpation, skin inspection, and a digital rectal exam, which produces brief discomfort and, in rare cases, minor rectal bleeding. Tumor markers are non-specific; abnormal results commonly produce short-term anxiety until follow-up workup.
