Some years ago we went to this particular assisted reproduction unit and our experience was as follows. Despite the large number of eggs collected from my wife, only three embryos were produced. After unsuccessful attempts, the explanations we received were general (“this happens”), without any substantive investigation of the causes. On the contrary, in our perception there was pressure to repeat IVF cycles, as well as attribution of responsibility to the quality of the wife’s eggs without providing us with any supporting documentation and in a manner that we experienced as offensive. We were also, in our experience, pressured to proceed with a donor solution, without providing us with sufficient medical documentation. In another large clinic that we then went to: * Advanced endometriosis was diagnosed, which should have already been treated before any new attempt, and we did indeed proceed with surgery. * 10 embryos resulted from 12 eggs. * We received full, written and signed updates for each stage. * The embryo transfer was done with detailed synchronization and monitoring, resulting in a successful pregnancy from the first attempt, while there are also frozen embryos for the future. Today we have a very healthy child. Based on our experience, the approach of the first unit gave us the impression that it was more commercial than medically documented and that there was not the level of transparency that we would expect. Furthermore, we did not receive receipts for our payments, while the behavior of the secretariat in some cases, as we experienced it, was not as expected, both towards us and towards other couples. In retrospect, we also read some old newspaper articles, which if we had seen in time would have prevented us from going. This review is written with the sole purpose of informing and protecting other couples. Who we are in detail is not relevant, especially when we have seen information related to the couples' medical history mentioned in public responses.
When describing Dr. Michael Bobotis to me, my friend who recommended him mentioned two of his many gifts, that he is a HUMAN and not an exploiter... And she was absolutely right about both. From the first moment I met him, having already had negative experiences from two other clinics specializing in assisted reproduction, possibly more prominent, where I felt like I was just one of the dozens they see on a daily basis, I realized that I had found my doctor. He was disarmingly honest about my choices but at the same time effortlessly supportive. The same sense of accessibility and professionalism characterizes all of his collaborators at the Biodemiorgia In Vitro Fertilization Unit, from the girls in the secretariat to the other medical/scientific staff. Thanks to him today, at the age of 51, I hold in my hands two very healthy little girls, but beyond the excellent result of his medical care, what has remained with me and makes me recommend him unreservedly is the interest he showed in me, when at one point my pregnancy was not progressing smoothly (although he was no longer monitoring me) and even until its happy end. As I have said many times in recent years when I have faced various health problems, at such times, in addition to the scientific doctor, you also need the human doctor and that is exactly what Mr. Bobotis is. To say that I am grateful to him is a bit...
Closing a small circle today and optimistically expecting the best to come, I want to express my warm thanks to the entire team of “Biodemiourgia” and, especially and primarily, to Dr. Michalis Bobotis. From the first moment we trusted his words, as he gave us answers to questions that had been troubling us for years. He guided us with calmness, scientific knowledge and optimism, with the motto “step by step”. After visiting several colleagues and well-known names in the medical field, my partner, immediately after the first appointment, told me: “This is it, finally!”. And that is exactly what it was. Don’t look for him, don’t get confused by various names; give yourself the opportunity to get to know him. I am sure that he will help you. Nadia is everything a woman needs on this journey – and more. Thank you so much! The workshop perfectly captures the image of the team - Andrea, thank you for the two most important phone calls of our lives. Everyone, without exception, is explanatory, positive and human. Julia and Ioanna are always there, no matter what time it takes, with a smile and warmth. 🥰 Doctor, I met you and loved you. Thank you for the opportunity you gave me and I look forward to the next ones that, as you told me: “I want you to give me two more chances.” You have them – and more. Because it is not only the result that matters, but also the person. And for me, you are the person I have gained in my life. ❤️ And everything else will come. After all, faith moves the Miracle.

Our experience with IVF with this particular unit was very bad. We suffered significant losses in embryos, health and time — and of course money, but the first three are irreplaceable. No cause of infertility was found but they directed us towards repeated IVF. We did not receive documentation, they came to "calm us down" afterwards but we left. The unit's approach was mainly commercial and the treatment of the secretariat was unsatisfactory. Immediately after that, we turned to a larger unit and the results were night and day in everything: doctors, protocols, embryology, secretariat, transparency, formality, respect. A diagnosis was made immediately, treatment was given, amazing results from the embryology and pregnancy with the first embryo transfer. Please, if you are looking for a unit, weigh it correctly. We are also writing our negative experience after others, so that there is comprehensive information for those looking for a unit. Our health, our lives and our families above all else.
