After two failed attempts at IVF in Ireland due to my low egg count I met Sofia Meleti and Harry Karpouzi at a show in the R.D.S in February 2025. They were so knowledgeable and it was great to know there were more options. I went through IVF using donor eggs. The process went smoothly and in November 2025 I went for my embryo transfer. At six weeks I had my first scan and there were two tiny babies with beating hearts. At nine weeks I went for a follow up scan and I had what is commonly known as a vanishing twin. So I'm down to one but very positive. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant with a noticeable bump and feeling hopeful. It's all thanks to the level of care and professionalism of pelargos IVF clinic. Throughout the whole process they were there to answer any questions about medication, the early fears and unnecessary worries that come with being a first timer. I would highly recommend this place as I feel like they made the impossible, possible.

The whole team are fabulous. The thing that made me choose Dr Karpouzis is his honesty and professionalism towards the problems I will be facing whilst still being empathetic. Sofia has been so wonderful also and reassured me the whole time during what is a very daunting process and in a country where greek is not my first language. The whole team took great care of me. I felt supported every step of the way and can't wait to go back for my next round of egg freezing! I definitely recommend Pelargos medical group for your egg freezing and fertility needs!
