The components of this screening package are non-invasive and well tolerated. The brain MRI is radiation-free but is contraindicated in patients with certain implants (pacemakers, cochlear implants, surgical clips) and may trigger claustrophobia; if intravenous contrast is used, mild and rare allergic reactions are possible. The carotid Doppler ultrasound is painless and has no known harmful side effects. As a screening service the package does not treat any condition — its purpose is to flag findings that may require further specialist work-up, occasionally leading to additional tests and follow-up costs not covered in the original package. Disclose all metallic implants, known allergies, pregnancy possibility, kidney disease and current medications when you book.

What to Expect
Before the visit: no special preparation is required for either examination. Patients with metallic implants, pacemakers or claustrophobia should inform the clinic in advance. No fasting is required. During the visit: the Brain MRI typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. The Carotid Artery Doppler (Triplex) ultrasound takes approximately 20 minutes. Both examinations are non-invasive and painless. After the visit: the radiology report in English is provided the same day. Findings are reviewed with the patient and a referral is arranged if further evaluation is required.
Duration
Same-day package — approximately 1 to 1.5 hours total, including both examinations and the report.
Cancellation Policy
