What to Expect
Before the procedure: pre-operative blood tests and imaging (MRI / X-ray) are required. Fasting from midnight before the procedure. Anaesthesiology assessment is arranged by the clinic. After the procedure: same-day or next-day discharge depending on the procedure. Crutches are provided for 2 to 4 weeks. A physiotherapy protocol is recommended. Full recovery for return to sport after ACL reconstruction is approximately 6 to 9 months. A follow-up visit is scheduled within 2 weeks of discharge. A written English report is provided at discharge.
