Angela Suites Boutique hotel and Angela Studios & Apartments are both located in a quiet road just 5 minutes walking distance from Buffos beach and Avlaki, an unspoiled small bay. The harbor of Sissi, the main road of the village with small shops, some supermarkets, car rentals and generally anything you will need during your stay can be found in extremely short walking distances within just few minutes from our properties. The location is ideal if you wish to explore Central or East Crete.

How to Access
From Heraklion airport ” Nikos Kazantzakis “, take the exit to the new national highway (E75) towards Agios Nikolaos . Follow this way & keep driving for about 40km, until you meet the signpost ” Sissi / Vrachasi / Milatos “. Turn left and after 400m on the next similar signpost turn right and follow this road for ca 1.5km & turn left at the sign for ” Sissi “. Keep driving for 1 km until you reach it. Drive into Sissi & turn right at the free public parking space. After 200m, Angela Suites Boutique Hotel can be seen on the right of the street & Angela Studios-Apartments , on the left side of the road.

I stayed for five days. I think it's a lovely and clean hotel. All the staff are very friendly, courteous, and attentive. Someone always came by to ask if you wanted anything else to drink. Empty plates were cleared away. The food was very tasty, except for one occasion. There was always a small amuse-bouche with four slices of bread, a salad as a starter, a tzatziki or similar, and the main course, which you could choose from two options. There was also a vegetarian option! For dessert, there was either Greek yogurt or a small piece of cake. All in all, it was quite sufficient. I can't really comment on the breakfast, as I had muesli with yogurt and fruit, which was both fresh and canned. So, there was a choice. Since the hotel offers half-board, I knew that drinks were extra. Everything else for snacks and drinks can be bought at the supermarket. My apartment was clean and equipped with everything I could possibly need. Even during my trip to Knossos, I was asked if I'd like an earlier breakfast. So I don't understand some of the reviews. All in all, I felt very comfortable. And whenever people in town asked me where I was staying, the response was always, "Oh, that's a good hotel!" Thank you so much for my short but wonderful stay. And a special thank you to the amazing staff member who made me feel like the most important person to them! 💙🤍💙

Hotel with super friendly people, quiet, a 5-minute walk from the center, but the town is small and ideal, the beach is nearby, it's pebbly but very clear
